PA DUI MISSION
The Pennsylvania Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Association is a professional organization which is working to address the DUI problem in all of its many stages -- from prevention to enforcement up to, and including, adjudication and rehabilitation.
We provide information, direction, training and support with the purpose of working toward the elimination of impaired drivers and the harm that they can cause.
Through our efforts we create a healthier and safer environment for all people in the Commonwealth.
U-TURN MISSION
The U-TURN campaign and accompanying Web site, www.pullayouee.com, leverages real statistics to shatter the myths surrounding common behavior in our target audience. Pullayouee.com is more than just a Web site. Pullayouee.com is a living, breathing gathering place for our target audience to exchange ideas, learn, change perceptions, download/upload, post, create and absorb. Using vibrant and relevant graphics and copy, pullayouee.com serves as our central hub from which all media and information resonates from and cycles back to. Through a blend of traditional events and social media outreach, pullayouee.com makes our Social Norm campaign interesting and engaging to our target. Each section reinforces the idea that young people today consistently assume they understand what the popular crowd is doing and what is expected of them to belong and provides them will real and current data that changes their awareness and encourages them to make better choices and, ultimately, live a safer and better life. We challenge them to “Think Again” and pull a U-TURN.
The U-Turn campaign is part of a grant awarded to the Pennsylvania DUI Association from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. This grant is funded through Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction Funds (SAEDRF).
